FAQs.
What are the warranties like for refurbished products?
Our reconditioned products come with the same warranty as our new products, but do not cover failures resulting from:
- Maintenance that does not comply with Schneider Electric’s instructions or best practices
- Incorrect storage
- Failure to comply with installation and/or connection instructions
- Normal wear and tear of the product
- Consumables (e.g. batteries)
- Errors made by the customer (choice of product, installation, implementation, commissioning, modification without the agreement of Schneider Electric).
How can I prepare for the collection of my Schneider Electric equipment?
Once you’ve completed the form, follow these key steps to ensure a smooth and secure collection:
- Disassemble the equipment and leave it as is.
- Place items on a pallet and secure them: wrap, strap, or band the pallet to prevent movement or damage during transport.
- Position the pallet in an accessible loading area on the agreed collection date—this area should allow quick and safe loading.
- Ensure someone is present at the pickup location on the day of collection to assist the carrier.
Waste Tracking Form (BSD).
Can Schneider create the BSD?
No. Schneider Electric is not authorised to generate the BSD. It must be created and completed by the person organising the collection and signed by that person and the carrier at the time of pickup.
Do I need to create my BSD in Trackdéchets?
If the equipment to be collected contains SF₆ gas, the BSD must be created via Trackdéchets. In all other cases, you can use the paper format provided by our logistics partner.
Environmental documentation.
How can I access my environmental documentation?
Once your collection has been processed, your document will appear in the Documents tab. Processing can take a few weeks, so thank you for your patience.
When will my environmental document be ready?
You can usually access your environmental document about a month after your collection has been processed. Simply head to the Documents tab linked to your collection to view it.
