The ‘Consumption Details’ section of the Bechtle Clouds Portal provides a detailed breakdown of the cloud resources used. It clearly shows which resources have been used, the costs incurred per resource, and how long they were used for. Furthermore, this section helps users analyse cost trends and potential fluctuations across different providers. The feature can be found in the Service Portal of the Bechtle Clouds Portal and supplements the monthly billing with a significantly more accurate and transparent overview.
The “Consumption Details” section displays all resources used from various cloud providers. These include Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud. The view shows the type, quantity and duration of each resource, giving you a comprehensive overview of your total cloud usage.
Alongside the resource details, you will find both the individual prices and the resulting total costs per resource. This overview allows you to monitor price trends, quickly identify cost drivers and better understand changes in the pricing structure.

You can access the “Consumption Details” by clicking on your name in the Bechtle Clouds Portal, then opening the Service Portal and selecting the “Consumption Details” section. From there, you will be taken directly to a full overview of your cloud resource usage.
Using the “Consumption Details” feature provides greater transparency in cost management, enables better tracking of price changes and resource usage, and helps you make more informed budget plans and optimise your cloud infrastructure in a more targeted manner.
Whilst the monthly Bechtle Clouds invoice merely shows the total costs per cloud provider, the ‘Consumption Details’ section provides a more granular view by displaying the costs of each individual resource and clearly assigning them. This makes it clear which items make up the total amount.
