Discounts

We’re currently integrating our cloud solutions into bechtle.com. Because of this, this feature may not be available yet. It will be added soon, and once it’s live, you’ll have a smoother and more consistent shopping experience.

This page explains what you’ll find in the Discounts section and how you can use it to manage customer discounts internally. 

OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

The Discounts section in the Bechtle Clouds Portal is only for Bechtle employees. It allows you to quickly see all discounts linked to a specific customer. You can look up details, create new discounts, or disable discounts that are no longer needed. Customers never see this section—it’s purely for internal use and helps you keep on top of exactly which discounts are active for your customer. 

Access to the Discounts section

You’ll find Discounts in the Service Portal of the Bechtle Clouds Portal. It only appears when you’re logged in as a Bechtle employee. Customers won’t see it at all—it’s reserved for internal roles such as Customer Service or Support. 

What you’ll see

When you select a customer in the Discounts section, you’ll see everything you need at a glance. You can check which products the discount applies to, whether it’s currently active, when it was created, and who set it up. You’ll also see how long it’s valid and the final price after the discount has been applied.It’s all laid out so you can quickly understand what’s in place and what may have changed. 

Managing discounts

In this section, you can view all discounts that are currently set up for a customer. You can also add new discounts when needed or deactivate those that are no longer valid. This keeps the pricing information up to date and helps ensure that customers always receive the correct price. 

Use cases

Access to the Discounts section is limited to people who have the appropriate permissions. Customers cannot see this section, and only authorised colleagues can add, view or deactivate discounts. This keeps the entire process manageable and secure. 

Access permissions

The Discounts section is mainly used to check a customer’s active discount agreements before contacting them. It also helps you keep track of validity periods, status changes and price details, so you can always be sure the agreed price is correct. Many colleagues use this section to quickly get a full picture of a customer’s discount setup.
