Bechtle Ireland Open Golf Day 2026 | Powerscourt Golf Club, West Course | 18th June 2026
- The Contest. A Hole-in-One contest will take place on the 17th hole of the West Course at Powerscourt Golf Club during the Bechtle Ireland Open Golf Day 2026 on 18th June 2026.
- The Prize. The prize is a Mercedes-Benz E-Class, worth €85,000 - provided in partnership with Mercedes-Benz Ballsbridge | MSL Motor Group. The prize is awarded to the first participant who achieves a hole-in-one on the designated hole. A maximum of two (2) prizes are available, awarded to the first two participants to achieve a hole-in-one respectively.
- Eligibility. The contest is open to registered participants of the Bechtle Ireland Open Golf Day 2026 only. Professional golfers, semi-professional golfers, and golf club professionals are not eligible to participate in the contest.
- How to qualify. To be eligible for the prize, a participant must:
- Score a hole-in-one on the 17th hole during the official tournament round
- Be playing in a group of no fewer than three participants
- Complete a full 18-hole round
- Take only their first tee shot — no mulligans, practice shots, second attempts, or replays are permitted under any circumstances
- Minimum yardage. The contest hole must be played at a minimum length of 151 yards from the tee. No alterations will be made to the green or hole position that would artificially facilitate a hole-in-one.
- Verification.
For the chance to win the car, there must be two official witnesses present, one of whom is positioned at the tee-off area and the other of whom is positioned adjacent to the main prize hole green, as well as raw, unedited videotape of the entire main hole activity.
All attempts on the contest hole will be supervised by two independent officials (non-participants, aged 18 or over) and video recorded throughout the tournament. To validate a claim, the winning participant must provide:

- A scorecard signed by playing partners
- Confirmation from the supervising officials on the day
- Video evidence of the shot
- One attempt per person. Each participant is entitled to one tee shot only on the contest hole. Any participant taking more than one attempt, regardless of outcome, will be disqualified from the contest.
- Tax & duties. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, and charges arising from acceptance of the prize, including but not limited to Vehicle Registration Tax (VRT) and any applicable benefit-in-kind taxation.
- Non-transferable. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative.
- General. Bechtle Ireland reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel this contest at any time. Participation in the contest constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland.
- Absolutely no practice shots or mulligans are permitted on the main prize hole.
