                  VoIP requires broadband Internet access, which many companies already have, making it easy to switch over to VoIP. By optimising your Internet plan, you can then substantially lower your phone costs—up to 60 percent compared with ISDN. Switching to VoIP can also improve your Internet’s performance. Because landline phones and the Internet often share the same copper cables, a large chunk of the frequency spectrum is blocked by the ISDN or analogue phones.
