Could you introduce yourself?
My name is Deniz Uzuncay, I’m 26, and from Strasbourg!
Could you tell us about how you started at Bechtle?
I started at Bechtle on 27 August 2018 as a new account acquisitions manager. It was a completely new adventure for me and I’m still doing this job today, four years later!
Could you tell us about your career?
My first professional experience was as a car salesman at Citroën Strasbourg.
Afterwards I worked in various shops (always in sales and customer service)and since 2018, I’ve been at Bechtle.
What does your current role consist of?
My job is all about attracting new customers to Bechtle. I present our company all over France to try and boost our market share.
In your opinion, what are the qualities required to hold this position?
Perceptiveness, an open ear, perseverance, patience.
What skills have you learned since joining Bechtle?
Knowledge of the IT market, e-commerce sales, which was new to me, and working as a team (above all with colleagues in sales).
What’s the next step in your Bechtle journey?
Over the coming years, my aim is to have my own team of acquisition managers at Bechtle to tackle new challenges.
Which three words best describe Bechtle?
A very large European IT reseller, a company that listens to its employees, inter-team collaboration with various services.
But enough about work. Do you have any hobbies?
I’m a huge football fan! My favourite team is FC Barcelona.
How would your friends and family describe you?
They’d describe me as a person who always listens, likes making people happy, and is always there for others.

My favourite meal is Lahmacun, or Turkish pizza.
And is there anything else we should know about you?
I always have a desire to innovate, suggest ideas, to try and create new things. I’m someone who doesn’t like to stay in my comfort zone!
