Could you introduce yourself?
My name is Malvina, I am 42, have a 13-year-old daughter and work at ARP, now Bechtle Paris as After Sales Coordinator!
How did that come about?
I worked for an SME for 5 years, where I worked my way around the various departments. I was in Accounts Payable at first, then in general Accounting. I was also a sales assistant, assistant to the heads of departments, and finally assistant to the executive management—all thanks to my versatility. I’ve now been working as an after sales coordinator for six years, but my work is very varied!
What do you do as an after sales coordinator?
My colleague Kevin and I deliver after sales service, management technical and general services. This means customer order returns, registering returns, managing sending and receiving parcels, Deutsche Post, receiving invoicing, and booking credit notes. We also help Sales out when needed and finally we have daily tasks such as ordering consumables.
So your job is really quite varied!
Yes, every day is different—and it’s never boring!
Is it important for you not to have a boring job?
I find it important to not just do the same thing every day. I don’t want to do repetitive work. But it’s important to me to help others, most of all, and in my role I help customers and my whole team. People always tell me I should have been a social worker!
In 2021, you made the switch from ARP to the Bechtle family.
How was the change for you?
The fusion was a little daunting, but I’m also happy to be part of an organically growing group. It gives me a feeling of security, a very promising prospect. We can share our experiences and working methods to mutual benefit. I hope that we will be able to make our differences our strengths. And... I like the Bechtle logo much more!
Enough about work... What are your interests?
My family is my biggest passion! But I like lots of other things like karaoke with friends, music (but not what’s trendy at the moment... Help!) watching series, going to the cinema, and I love going out with friends...
What was the last film you saw?
I probably shouldn’t say, but I went to see “Les Tuche 4” with my daughter. It was so bad that she fell asleep!
