Welke smartphone wil jij?

De iPhone van Apple, de Samsung Galaxy of een smartphone van Cyrus, HP of Lenovo… elk jaar worden er nieuwe technologieën verwerkt in mobiele apparatuur. De verschillen onderling zijn groot. Dat maakt het extra belangrijk om de juiste keuze te maken. Welke fabrikant of welk besturingssysteem je ook kiest, je keuze hangt af van hoe je de telefoon wilt gaan gebruiken. Ook binnen de modellen van één fabrikant kun je nog keuzes maken. Bij apparaten van hetzelfde model kan je vervolgens selecteren op opslagcapaciteit, design en kleur. Een overzicht van de belangrijkste criteria

Wil je zeker zijn dat je de juiste smartphone kiest, analyseer dan eerst het gebruik. Wie veel telefoneert, maar weinig op het internet surft, heeft bijvoorbeeld niet zoveel profijt van een groot display. Belangrijker zijn dan bijvoorbeeld een fijn touchscreen en goede bescherming tegen stof en water. Kwaliteit is voor alle zakelijke gebruikers belangrijk, je gebruikt een mobiel apparaat immers elke dag. Let er bij je keuze daarom op dat het intern geheugen voldoet aan jouw wensen en vergelijk de accuprestaties. Ook de wireless-functies, zoals LTE, UMTS, WLAN GPS en Bluetooth, zijn belangrijk. Wil je zakelijk en privé graag van elkaar gescheiden houden? Kies dan voor smartphones en mobiele telefoons met een Dual-SIM.

Smartphones en de veiligheid in het bedrijf

Hoe waarborg je de veiligheid van bedrijfsdata? In het kader van mobility speelt dit onderwerp bij alle bedrijven een grote rol. Om die veiligheid te waarborgen, is het opstellen van standaarden voor het gebruik van smartphones en mobiele telefoons een goede maatregel. Denk aan het mobiel opvragen van gevoelige gegevens via gecodeerde overdrachten en het gecontroleerd installeren van apps en updates. Neem ook de nodige maatregelen vóór en bij verlies. En stel een procedure vast voor de verwijdering van een mobiele telefoon. Om het beheer eenvoudiger te maken, is het raadzaam om niet te veel verschillende soorten telefoons binnen één organisatie te gebruiken. Zo maak je het mobility-beleid overzichtelijk. Ook wat besturingssysteem betreft, is het goed om een keuze te maken die past bij het bedrijf en de toepassing. Veel zakelijke werkzaamheden worden ondersteund door Apple iOS. Daarnaast zijn er smartphones verkrijgbaar, waarop alle gangbare Windows toepassingen gebruikt kunnen worden, die medewerkers ook op hun desktop pc gewend zijn. Wil je advies?
