Bechtle offers hyperscaler clouds as a managed service

  • Unified model for running AWS, Azure and Google Cloud services
  • Simplified multi-cloud use for SMEs
  • Bechtle Service Factory support in Germany

Neckarsulm, 5 May 2022 – Bechtle is expanding its established multi-cloud portfolio with unified cloud operation services for hyperscale cloud platforms Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. These are delivered as a managed service by Bechtle’s own Service Factory, thus opening the door to numerous options for a fast cloud-based IT transformation for SMEs in particular.

With its operation services for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, Bechtle is providing a shared, holistic model that incorporates the three leading hyperscale cloud providers and not only includes consultation, configuration and onboarding, but also continuous cost and governance optimisations to ensure consistently efficient operations over the cloud services’ entire lifecycle.

Multi-cloud as a Service

The managed services can be procured for one or all three cloud providers as a combined multi-cloud model. Orders and consumption-based invoicing are handled centrally through the Bechtle Clouds marketplace while certified experts at the Bechtle Service Factory located in Germany manage service and support.

“Our customers want to use the best platform for each of their various workloads and applications, but they are often stymied by high additional investments in specialist staff and related expertise. With our managed services, they are able to free themselves of the dilemma by using individual solutions based on proven standards. Bechtle’s operation services build on the cloud adoption frameworks of our partners AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud as well as best practices from our experience of operating a wealth of customer environments,” says Dirk Müller-Niessner, Managing Director, Bechtle Hosting & Operations.

“In addition to the consistent expansion of our partner ecosystem, we also set great store in providing complex cloud services as a fully-managed model. Diverse yet simple solutions enable companies to focus their attention on what their digital transformation is all about—the future of their business,” says Melanie Schüle, Managing Director, Bechtle Clouds.
