These ARTICONA sleeves support the circular economy as they are mainly made out of recycled PET. For notebooks and tablets up to 33.8 cm (13.3"). Soft, padded and durable sleeve for safely storing your notebook or tablet. Main compartment with double zip. Lining protects from scratches. Water-repellent exterior. The main material consists of 100% recycled R-PET polyester from PET bottles or recycled fibres from old clothing. Depending on its size, four to five plastic bottles are used to make every sleeve. ARTICONA is giving used plastic bottles a second life. This way, they don't end up as rubbish in the ocean but are transformed into sleeves protecting the oceans and your devices. There still needs to be some research into how recycled and dyed polyester, such as that used in this product, can itself be recycled and reused to give the raw material a third and even fourth life (July 2022).
