Bechtle supports Saarland government with collaboration platform

Neckarsulm/Saarbrücken, 17 March 2020 – In a matter of just hours, Bechtle AG has deployed a Cisco Webex-based collaboration solution for the state government of Saarland. By Friday, all of the state’s entities were integrated. The government has implemented the solution in such a short space of time by way of preparing for changes to its operations as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. Its employees are now able to collaborate across all sites using a virtual platform complete with a video conferencing system.
Getting the Saarland state government’s collaboration solution up and running within just a day was a concerted effort of Bechtle experts from the company’s central Cisco team at its Neckarsulm HQ, Bechtle Clouds, Bechtle’s Saarbrücken system house, and Bechtle’s central IT organisation, all working in unison with the manufacturer and the state’s IT Innovation and IT Service Centres. The Bechtle Clouds platform served as an interface that enabled a swift integration even on such a large scale. The solution now enables up to one thousand employees of the Saarland government and its municipalities to stay in touch. In addition, Bechtle offers web-based training to help users to adopt the solution quickly.
