SUPC develops and manages frameworks specifically for the higher education sector, working in close collaboration with their UK regional purchasing consortia partners who operate in a similar way. SUPC help universities and colleges buy smarter. Members use their frameworks and support services to make sure their procurement activities deliver value for money to students, staff and wider communities.
What do they do?
SUPC works very closely with the other regional and national higher education purchasing consortia in the UK to offer value for money agreements to members. To support this, they have formalised our close links with the other UK University Purchasing Consortia (UKUPC). SUPC is acting as lead organisation on behalf of the universities, further education colleges, not-for-profit and other public sector organisations from across the South of England which are members of SUPC. As a membership-based buying organisation for universities and further education colleges, SUPC develops and manages Framework Agreements. SUPC members have access to a wide range of professionally tendered agreements compliant with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. By using SUPC agreements, SUPC members can purchase competitively priced goods and services across a variety of commodity areas.
