Bechtle Volunteers Support Animals in Need Rescue Centre.

At Bechtle, we’re committed to supporting our local communities, and one way we do this is by offering employees the opportunity to spend one day a year volunteering for causes they care about. Recently, a team from Bechtle spent a day at Animals in Need, a wonderful rescue centre based in Northampton that provides care and shelter for abandoned and injured animals.

The day began with walking some friendly rescue dogs, who enjoyed the fresh air and company. Next, the team cleaned and refreshed the ducks’ enclosures, making sure the water was clean and inviting for the birds. One of the most memorable tasks was cleaning and painting the pig’s hut — this pig was an impressive 48 stone, much larger than the photo can show!

Animals in Need kindly gave our volunteers a tour of the site, where they could see how the funds raised by the Northampton office and other donations are making a real difference in the lives of the animals.

We’re proud to support Animals in Need and grateful for the chance to give back to our local community. It’s inspiring to see how small efforts, when combined, can create a meaningful change.
