Whether it’s a trip into the local town centre, or popping to the supermarket to grab some lunch, many of us are guilty of taking the car on those shorter journeys. But with fuel prices at an all-time high and with these venues in such close proximity, I think we can safely say the car could, and should, be left in the carpark where possible.
With the aim of encouraging a more environmentally friendly mode of transport, and to promote a more active lifestyle choice, we’ve purchased 4 Bechtle Bikes for our Chippenham HQ and 2 for our Manchester office. Not only is cycling a quick and convenient way to get around, but it’s also great for your health and enables you to enjoy a moment of ‘zen’ whilst away from your desk.
The hope is that these bikes will become the preferred mode of transport for many of our team. With Chippenham town centre just a 10-minute cycle ride from our HQ, as well as 3 supermarkets on our doorstep, plus our Manchester office located in the centre of Piccadilly, there really is no excuse now!
