The Extension Shelf provides 14 slots for the Silent Brick Air storage container for a total of up to 336 TB gross capacity (uncompressed). Scalability: The Silent Brick Air Library enables simple and virtually unlimited scaling with additional Extension Shelves that are connected to the controller and other shelves through a Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) loop. This allows for high-speed data transfers while also providing redundancy and robust fault tolerance and 100 Mb Ethernet connectivity to the controller. FAST Care service contract required.
