Bechtle’s Solution

At Bechtle, our experiences in services and consultative approach means we take the time to understand our customer’s existing print infrastructure, enabling us to develop a bespoke managed print service to meet both their immediate and future needs.

 

Initially we set up a meeting with our in-house MPS specialist, Samsung’s MPS specialist and IPC EMEA which enabled us to gain a clear understanding of their needs and objectives, their aim primarily being to reduce the amount of maintenance and admin time spent on their print environment. This discussion also allowed us to understand the devices currently employed, the print volume output, and the nature of IPC EMEA business.

 

Once we had established what was required we worked closely with Samsung, one of our MPS partners, to design and deliver a suitable solution to fit their requirements. As part of the proposal we worked out the estimated cost savings for IPC EMEA which equated to around £2,216 per device. Across both devices, they had a potential cost saving of £4,432 per annum.

 

In this situation we were given plenty of time to present the proposal and it was a simple case of waiting for IPC EMEA to make a decision.

 

The Benefits

IPC EMEA gained a host of benefits by employing an MPS contract, the main one being, it’s all done for you! When the toners are running low, a notification is sent to the Samsung help desk who process this and get the correct toners sent out for next day delivery. If a part needs fixing, another notification is sent, processed, and an engineer will be sent to fix the problem.

 

By switching to a managed print service IPC EMEA benefitted from significant cost savings and no longer need to spend extra time keeping printers up and running, they can now simply let the printers do their job and allow Samsung and their partners to deal with all the admin and maintenance for them... perfect!
