Bechtle Switzerland moves to new location in Geneva.
- Modern office space on more than 1,300 square metres
- Strong growth makes relocation necessary
- Merging of previous locations promotes synergies
Morges, 15 November 2022 - Bechtle has moved into new premises in Switzerland in Petit-Lancy near Geneva. The space, which has been rented on a long-term basis, offers a state-of-the-art working environment for 150 employees. The new office, with more than 1,300 square metres of space, gives Bechtle a second prominent presence in western Switzerland and creates room for further synergies in the important economic region.
Bechtle has grown successfully in Western Switzerland in recent years. Among other things, through the acquisitions of the IT service providers Codalis and Abissa. The employees of both companies previously worked at the locations of the companies integrated into Bechtle Suisse SA. At the newly occupied location in Petit-Lancy, all teams in the greater Geneva area are now spatially consolidated. The consolidation is intended to promote further potential for cooperation.
The property, which opened in 2007, was built according to the Swiss Minergie building standard. The brand, which is jointly supported by the economy, the cantons and the federal government, focuses on comfort, efficiency and value retention. These goals are achieved through a high-quality building envelope, systematic air renewal, above-average heat protection and very low energy requirements with maximum use of renewable energies.

Bechtle has been represented in French-speaking Switzerland since 2004 - since 2018 with a central location in Morges near Lausanne. The expanded presence in the immediate vicinity of the Geneva urban area opens up additional new opportunities for Bechtle in western Switzerland. Geneva is an important financial centre and, as the second headquarters of the United Nations, a centre for international organisations and NGOs.
