Challenge.

TRAVYS wanted to provide all its employees, regardless of their role and workplace, with a communication channel accessible on PC, tablet, or smartphone. The goal was twofold: to facilitate access to information and to encourage exchange by allowing employees to comment on posts or ask questions to the relevant departments and services.
Before this project, the company had an intranet integrated into its website. This tool was rarely used by employees due to its lack of user-friendliness and static content. Therefore, it became essential to offer an alternative to improve user experience and accessibility. The chosen solution was based on Microsoft SharePoint Online, already included in the company’s Microsoft 365 licenses.

Solution.

Our teams adopted Bechtle’s Best Practices by organizing several workshops with each department of the company. The goal ? To design an intuitive, practical intranet structure tailored to the specifi c needs of
each user group.
We applied our SCRUM project management methodology, alternating phases of collaborative work and intermediate validations, thus ensuring a smooth implementation aligned with the client’s expectations.

With activities involving high mobility and a wide geographical distribution across the entire northern part of the canton of Vaud, it was essential to implement a system that allowed each employee to access communications in real time. The goal ? To foster interactions, strengthen the sense of belonging, and optimize the fl ow of information.
Today, thanks to our new intranet and its numerous features, this goal has been fully achieved. We are very satisfi ed with the result and the support provided by the Bechtle teams. If we had to do it again? We would do it sooner!
