Thunderbolt 4 input/output

Our Philips docking monitor is one of the first Thunderbolt™ 4 monitors with USB4 conformity. In comparison to regular USB-C monitors, the Thunderbolt™ 4 technology provides super fast transfer speeds of 40 Gb/s and high resolution videos, multi-stream transport for daisy chaining, up to 90 W power supply for devices and a stable ethernet connection with 1 Gb/s via a single cable. Thunderbolt™ 4 also offers a slim and rotating USB-C docking solution via a single cable for a tidy desk, enhancing productivity.

Daisy chaining enables you to operate several monitors and devices via a single Thunderbolt connection to your laptop. Connect the Thunderbolt port of your laptop with this monitor and connect the second Thunderbolt port of the monitor to a second 4K monitor.

    Philips Thunderbolt 4 Monitor
40" 5K curved monitor with webcam

The new Philips working monitor optimised with an integrated docking station and webcam as well as Thunderbolt 4 connection offers the highest comfort to every Apple user.

The highlight of this display is its 5K resolution with higher pixel density. The higher resolution creates extra screen estate so that finer details can be seen more clearly. No matter if you are viewing documents, editing photos, producing videos or gaming, pictures are sharper, lines are smoother and text is much easier to read.

But that’s not all. Thanks to the curved screen, the light from the edges is reflected into your field of view. The higher resolution results in significantly less stress on the eyes, while the rounded edges further minimise the visual strain.

Another advantage of a display with 5K resolution is the screen’s way of dealing better with reflections, minimising glare, especially in well-lit rooms.
