Modern routers supply up to three suitable end devices with data in parallel via Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO). The WLAN standard Wifi 6 (WLAN-802.11ax) also introduces the function for the opposite direction, so that the router receives data streams from several devices simultaneously.
