Bechtle AG has raced past the 10,000 employee mark. The IT company, headquartered in Neckarsulm and boasting branches in 14 European countries, has recruited 1,647 new employees since the start of the year. The total number of employees now stands at double that of June 2011, meaning that Bechtle has already blazed past the number of employees envisaged in their Vision 2020.
The majority of new employees this year came from the 934 new hires in existing Bechtle Group companies, while 713 new faces joined the Bechtle Group through acquisitions, enabling the target set out in Vision 2020 to be fulfilled ahead of time. “10,000 employees is a significant milestone in our corporate story. What began as a one-man business in Heilbronn 35 years ago, is now home to more than 10,000 people with a shared passion for future-proof IT solutions and the desire to collaborate on our success story,” says Dr Thomas Olemotz, CEO of Bechtle AG.
To secure the IT provider’s sustainable long-term growth, Bechtle will continue to develop employee skills, recruit highly experienced professionals and train young people for commercial and technical positions. There are currently 879 vacant positions at Bechtle, 95 of which are vacancies for vocational trainees and students in integrated study programmes.
