How can I apply?

It’s easy. Simply apply online using our recruiting tool. Applications sent via e-mail or through the post will not be considered.

What should I include in my application?

We look forward to receiving your current CV and most recent references or a current transcript of your grades, as well as certificates from further education and training courses. You can upload a cover letter if you wish, but this is not essential.

Who do I send my application to?

You’ll find the right contact person listed in the job posting you’re applying for.

Could you let me know when suitable job openings come up?

Can I apply for several jobs?

You can apply for up to three jobs at once.

When can I expect to hear back?

We aim to respond to your application as quickly as possible, but reviewing it can take up to two weeks.

Why can’t I upload my application documents?

There can be several reasons for this.

You haven’t selected a file in the required “CV” field.
Your files might be too large or corrupted. (Individual files must be no larger than 5 MB, and the total size of all files must not exceed 10 MB.)
You’ve chosen an unsupported file format. We accept pdf, doc, docx, odt, rtf, txt, jpeg, gif and png.

I’ve forgotten my password/username. What should I do?

You can reset your password in the recruiting tool by clicking “Forgot your password?”. Your username is usually your email address.

What happens to my data during the application process?

Protecting your personal data is a top priority for us – especially during recruitment. We only use the information you provide to manage your application and to stay in touch with you throughout the process. You can find our Privacy Policy here.

Will my application be automatically deleted?

We stick to all applicable legal regulations and erase data within six months. We also follow all mandatory retention periods. You can delete your account at any time under ‘Search Options and Privacy’.

What’s the interview process like?

The process depends on the department and location. Typically, we start with an initial phone or video interview, followed by a second in-person chat. You’ll receive all the details by email in advance, so you’ll be well prepared.

Which video conferencing tool does Bechtle use for online interviews?

We use Microsoft Teams for digital interviews. No registration is needed – you can simply join as a guest via your browser. We’ll send you the access details and all relevant info by email ahead of time.

What tech do I need for the video interview?

You don’t need much for an online interview, just:

A PC or notebook with a webcam. Alternatively, you can use a smartphone or tablet.
A stable internet connection
Headphones or a headset with microphone (recommended)

If that’s not possible, just let us know – we’ll be happy to arrange a phone interview instead.
