With around 300 guests in attendance, CRN honoured outstanding performance in the German channel for the first time. Gerhard Schick received the Lifetime Achievement Award, which was accepted by his daughter, Karin Schick, who paid tribute to his extraordinary commitment to both the IT company and the industry as a whole. 

Besides this remarkable honour, Bechtle also came out on top in three other categories, winning over the jury with a compelling and substantive application that clearly highlights the value of the company’s solutions and initiatives.

AI Initiative of the Year. 

Since October 2023, Bechtle has been taking great strides in AI with its investment in Planet AI, a collaboration with the Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI) in Heilbronn and the roll out of Microsoft 365 Copilot for 5,000 of its employees. Furthermore, Bechtle has bolstered its expertise and footprint on the market with the expansion of its AI hub in Rostock. 

Young Professional Initiative. 

Bechtle has introduced modern initiatives for talent development to keep pace with the ever-changing word of work. To complement its well-established JuMP Leader programme, the company has also introduced JuMP Expert, which allows employees without solid-line leadership responsibilities to develop professionally. 

MSSP of the Year. 

In the Managed Services category, Bechtle’s state-of-the-art Cyber Defence Centre caught the eye, with its vendor-neutral, modular solutions and integration of AI-driven sensors that offer effective protection against cyberattacks. Holistic data analytics enables early threat detection and supports robust defence strategies for customers.
