Bechtle AG has met all the demanding requirements of Apple to become an Apple Authorized System Integrator (AASI). The AASI certification is required to be able to integrate Apple products within the framework of complex IT projects in heterogenous IT environments. Bechtle is just the second company in Germany to qualify for the partner status with Apple.
Neckarsulm, 6 April 2011 – Bechtle AG has widened its cooperation with Apple as an Apple Authorized System Integrator. The status is a good indication of Bechtle’s high level of expertise and competency when it comes to Apple products.
“We have carried premium Apple products in our product portfolio since 2007, which are becoming increasingly popular among our customers. The new certification as an Apple System Integrator brings the partnership to a whole new level. Our expertise in the IT business and our close customer proximity, ensured by our network of IT system houses, along with the close partnership with Apple, all make us a very attractive partner. We’re now able to offer more in-depth consutation and support for an improved integration solution of Apple products in our customers’ IT environment, which is a big step forward,” explained Michael Guschlbauer, COO IT system house & managed services Bechtle.
Main qualifying criteria for the certification is excellent service expertise and attention to detail. Apple also tested the quality and technical qualifications of the Bechtle employees. Leading up to the authorisation Bechtle has accumulated a massive base of know how and expertise of Apple products in addition to having certified system engineers all across Germany through a special programme.
The certified system engineers are already active in large projects, successfully integrating, for example, several thousand iPads into a customer's IT environment, which also includes a framework service agreement. Businesses are increasingly implementing Apple products into their existing networks as a standard platform. Apple products can be readily integrated into the existing IT infrastructure and are easily managed.
The newly certified Apple System Integrators see a lot of potential for future growth, for example, in supplying schools with iPads.
