Rotkreuz, 8 April 2015 – Bechtle Logistics & Service AG in Switzerland reinforces their management staff with a very experienced and well-connected sales expert. Looking back at over 20 years of experience in specialist and leadership positions with different IT companies, Andy Schiesser will join Josef Jungo at the helm of Bechtle Logistics & Service in Rotkreuz effective on 1 July 2015. As Sales Director of seven years with Avnet Schweiz AG, he was most recently in charge of the company’s IBM business unit, training services, as well as marketing and HR. “Andy Schiesser’s expertise is sure to help us further our plans for growth and strengthen our organisation here in Switzerland”, says Josef Jungo, Managing Director, Bechtle Logistics & Service AG, Rotkreuz. A native of Switzerland, Josef Jungo is also the Managing Director of German Bechtle Logistik & Service GmbH, the group’s largest subsidiary, which is also run by two managing directors and has its offices at the corporate headquarters in Neckarsulm.
Founded in October 2014 in Rotkreuz, Bechtle Logistics & Service AG is the fusion of different logistics and service, product management, purchasing and marketing organisations that were previously scattered across various sites in Switzerland. Its services are used by all Bechtle Group companies in Switzerland, including ARP, Bechtle direct, Bechtle IT system houses, as well as Comsoft direct. This new structure allows the group to generate economies of scale and better leverage synergies across all organisations, as well as further en-hance the collaboration with Bechtle’s logistics hub in Germany. The overall aim is to offer better flexibility, agility and services for the customers.
