Hyperscaler expands Bechtle's multi cloud portfolio
Neckarsulm, 25 July 2018 – With Amazon Web Services (AWS), Bechtle is adding another provider to its portfolio of cloud services. The partnership further strengthens Bechtle’s footing as a service provider for modern IT architectures. Customers will be able to access all AWS cloud services through the Bechtle Clouds platform.
Bechtle supports companies and public sector clients throughout Europe in the use of AWS services. The clouds platform hosted at Bechtle’s Tier 3+ data centre in Frankfurt will serve as an interface to AWS’ global cloud infrastructure and enables transparent management and billing of the cloud services used. The direct connection via DE-CIX—the world’s largest internet exchange point—ensures the highest performance for workloads and applications run in the AWS cloud.
AWS’ flexible and highly scalable services extend Bechtle’s wide-ranging portfolio for building individual cloud architectures. This provides customers with additional options for efficient operation of internal and external IT resources. Certified Bechtle specialists are available to advice companies on the AWS environment from design right through to implementation and, if necessary, ensure a seamless integration with existing IT landscapes. Cloud services are billed via Bechtle as is standard.
Bechtle has been operating a portal for cloud services at bechtle-clouds.com since 2017. It is based on the innovative Bechtle Clouds platform, which gives customers an easy, flexible and transparent way to use cloud services from a variety of different providers. Are you already using clouds? Constructing hybrid multi-clouds is easy as pie, right? It may seem so, seeing how fast some companies decide on their cloud solutions. But sooner or later, these cloud constructs become extremely hard to manage. A much better approach is to migrate into the cloud with a proper plan. This makes management of even the most complex cloud constructions simple and secure.
