How can global collaboration succeed without borders? The TIEFENBACHER GROUP asked itself this question. It wanted to connect its teams in Hyderabad, Cyprus and Hamburg and make their collaboration more transparent. Agreements, exchanges and project work at three locations were to become one big whole. True to the motto: one TIEFENBACHER – one cloud – one team. It goes without saying that the Microsoft 365 tenants at the locations had to grow together to achieve this. However, the seamless integration and centralisation of processes required appropriate consulting. And a partner who could combine the mix of hybrid and cloud-only structures – for a modern, secure cloud landscape that works worldwide.

Solution.

Bechtle took over - and developed the right holistic cloud strategy with TIEFENBACHER. After intensive consultation and conceptualisation, the IT partner expanded the central Microsoft 365 tenant, hardened it and equipped it with standardised security guidelines. This was followed by the challenge of migration: first TIEFENBACHER Laboratories in India, then TIEFENBACHER Manufacturing in Cyprus. Different systems, hybrid mailboxes, local specialities? Bechtle developed the right migration path for each location - secure, smooth and seamless. Intune and Autopilot now ensure standardised device management. Today, all mailboxes run via a central domain - Bechtle reorganised the entire mail flow for this purpose. At the same time, new governance structures were created: with clear responsibilities, a service catalogue and defined processes from onboarding to licence management. Particularly clever: despite centralised control and embedded in a strong, global setup, the local requirements of the locations were retained. This turned three tenants into a genuine one-team experience - secure, smart, networked.
