Bechtle has been awarded the Top Employer 2024 certification by the renowned Top Employers Institute,
declaring the company a prime choice for the German workforce.
The process.
The certification process involved Germany’s largest IT system house undergoing an in-depth survey spanning six different categories. As part of the multi-step process, the institute collected extensive information through a questionnaire, evaluated documentation, and conducted interviews with the company’s stakeholders.

The Top Employers Institute is an international institution providing the eponymous certification recognising excellence in employee conditions. The certification programme helps companies to understand and systematically optimise work conditions and their employee value proposition. Founded 30 years ago, the institute has already certified 2,053 Top Employers across 121 countries on five continents in the current year—160 of which are in Germany and 30 in the IT industry.
The certification.
The assessment is based on a broad set of criteria, including the interplay of business and personnel strategies, recruiting programmes, quality of the work environment, workplace health management, and professional development opportunities. Culture and values, business ethics and integrity, as well as campaigns to promote diversity and sustainability also factor in the evaluation.

Outcome.
In particular, the institute found that Bechtle performed exceptionally well and above industry average with respect to its work environment and the modern workplace, but also in terms of its employer brand, leadership and integrity.
However, we are not resting on our laurels. This certification has given us the impetus to identify new areas of action and implement optimisation measures.
The Top Employer seal underscores our aspiration to provide every Bechtle employee not only with an engaging job, but also a highly modern work environment and the best development opportunities. Naturally, we are proud of what we have achieved, but the study’s objective feedback is extra motivation for us to keep getting better and better.
