Why are bechtle.com and bechtle-clouds.com being merged?

The two shopping portals will be merged into a single platform. This will create a consistent shopping experience for all customers across all products, services and cloud solutions – with new features being rolled out more quickly via a central interface.

What are the new features?
  • No need to switch between shops – order cloud products directly on bechtle.com.
  • Buy hardware and cloud subscriptions together in a single checkout.
  • Use one account to access the entire Bechtle IT and cloud portfolio.
  • Enhanced search and configuration options make it easier to find and set up cloud products.
  • For recurring orders, you can now add cloud products to bechtle.com shopping lists, too.
  • All your invoices, addresses, users, and order thresholds are now managed in one place.
What will not change?
  • The assortment of cloud offerings stays the same.
  • Your existing cloud subscriptions will simply carry over.
  • Your order history remains intact.
  • Invoices, license scaling, and license assignments via Cost Centers continue to work as usual.
  • All e-mails will stay the same
Are all cloud offerings supported?

Yes. All existing offerings will be supported. The entire assortment of bechtle-clouds.com will be available under bechtle.com.

Will my complete account be migrated?

Yes. Your complete account will be migrated from bechtle-clouds.com to bechtle.com. This includes

  • your organization's account
  • all logins including all roles
  • multiuser accounts will be migrated and become so called global logins.
Will my contact person change?

No. Your contact persons at Bechtle stay the same.

Will my existing subscriptions and contracts change?

No. All your running subscriptions and contracts will not change.

Will content and product data be available in all languages (German, English, French, Czech, Spanish, Italian, Magyar (Hungarian), Dutch, Portuguese, and Polish)?

Yes. All product data and the complete UI will support German, English, French, Czech, Spanish, Italian, Magyar (Hungarian), Dutch, Portuguese, and Polish. All cloud offerings and their characteristics will be translated.

Legal documents and emails will be harmonized and unified throughout 2026.

Can I log in to both platforms, bechtle.com and bechtle-clouds.com?

Yes. Within the webshop, you can directly access bechtle-clouds.com via a special link: https://www.bechtle.com/cloud. If you are logged in to bechtle.com and click on this link: https://www.bechtle.com/cloud, you are automatically logged in to bechtle-clouds.com. This link can be found in menus, for example.

Can I always switch between bechtle-clouds.com and bechtle.com?

Yes. However, we recommend bechtle.com since a couple of features are designed to work under bechtle.com:

  • The cart is not shared
  • Permissions must be set in bechtle.com
  • Improved UI/UX
  • New features will be developed for bechtle.com only
  • Eventually, bechtle-clouds.com will be turned off
Will I receive an e-mail once my migration to bechtle.com succeeds?

Yes. You will receive an e-mail from bechtle.com to confirm your registration on bechtle.com if you did not exist on bechtle.com already.

Can I maintain my Clouds invoice address at bechtle.com?

No. The Clouds invoice address can be changed by Bechtle only. Your account manager must maintain the invoice address and set the default invoice address.

Will invoices be migrated to bechtle.com?

No. Invoices will not be migrated to bechtle.com. New invoices will appear in bechtle.com.

Will orders be migrated to bechtle.com?

No. Existing orders will not be migrated. However, new orders submitted at bechtle.com that contain cloud products will be shown in the order overview: https://www.bechtle.com/shop/my-account/orders of bechtle.com.

Will I have to set a new password?

No. Your data is initially migrated from bechtle-clouds.com to bechtle.com, including the password. A user does not have to set a new password.

Common Issues: You may receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your including setting your password. You can ignore the e-mail.

Will different orders be submitted?

Yes. Checkout will place two orders: one that contains hardware, services, and trainings. Another that contains cloud products. For you as a customer, there is no change compared to the current status quo once the order has been submitted.

Will the acceptance of terms and conditions change?

No. All terms and conditions (bechtle.com + cloud) must be accepted during checkout.

Do I have to setup my MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) after the migration from bechtle-clouds.com to bechtle.com?

Yes. If you did not exist on bechtle.com before, you must setup your MFA (Multi Factor Authentication). An activated MFA from bechtle-clouds.com cannot be migrated to bechtle.com.

Is my cart still shared with all other users of my organization?

No. A shared cart belongs to one user at bechtle.com and not to your entire organization. To share carts between users, bechtle.com offers Shopping Lists.

Common Issues:
Shared cart with bechtle-clouds.com: if a user has a cart at bechtle.com this cart also exists in bechtle-clouds.com but is it visible to all other users of the same customer. The recommendation is to either use bechtle.com or bechtle-clouds.com.

Is it still possible to import subscribers?

Yes. Eventually, only the creation of new users will be disabled in bechtle-clouds.com.

Subscribers imported from the customer's system (for example, via EntraID) but unable to log in to bechtle-clouds.com will continue to exist and can still be assigned to licenses.

Will the commissioned data processing change?

Yes. A change to the commissioned data processing is required. In addition to Bechtle Clouds GmbH, Bechtle AG will also be a direct processor of personal data.

The CAPE platform will roll out the changes to all customers on time via a standard mechanism.
