PTScientists are building a lunar lander to visit Apollo 17’s landing site in the second half of 2019. The Berlin-based company is pursuing a bold plan, drawing support from, among others, the Bechtle CAD specialists at SolidLine.
Their plans are sky high. Smartflyer AG, led by Rolf Stuber and his team of specialists, wants nothing less than to turn the small village of Grenchen in Switzerland into the cradle of electric aviation. To achieve this, they are currently building their new vehicle with an innovative drive—a hybrid plane—in their workshop.

Bechtle AG has bolstered their ranks with Konstantin Ebert. The 49 year old will take on responsibility for IT e-commerce activities in France, the United Kingdom and Spain from 1 February 2021, and will also oversee international strategic projects.

Hi and welcome! My name is Emily. I’m 19 years old and come from Bonn. I’m currently in my second year of vocational training as an IT Systems Business Manager. I didn’t even know that IT Systems Business Manager even existed as a career until I interviewed for a traineeship as an Office Manager, which I had originally wanted to do. But the person interviewing me convinced me to choose this route instead. In my free time, I like to play sports, hang out with friends and meet new people.
Alexander Schweitzer describes himself as a straightforward guy, and his career at Bechtle is a case in point. Ten years ago, his first day at Bechtle also happened to mark his first venture into IT. Fast-forward a decade, in 2021 he’s one of two managing directors of Bechtle direct. When you look closely, though, his trajectory didn’t always follow such a straight line. In fact, when he first joined Bechtle, it took a surprising turn.
I joined Bechtle in July 2018 as a System Engineer and since then I have been able to gain experience in both deployment planning and administration. In my current position, my organisational talent and curiosity are an absolute asset. Through the newly acquired tasks of marketing and event management, I always try to keep in close contact with our initiators in order to work out ideas and current topics.
