In the fiscal year 2010/2011, Bechtle was the world's first Fujitsu partner to pass the 100 million euro mark with Fujitsu products. In recognition of this accomplishment, the IT service and trading company was named Partner of the Year. On 18 November 2011, Jörg Brünig, Senior Director Channel Germany at Fujitsu, presented Michael Guschlbauer, COO IT System House & Managed Services at Bechtle AG, with the award.
Neckarsulm, 24/11/2011: At the Fujitsu Winners' Cup in Bechtle's Neckarsulm headquarters, Jörg Brünig and Matthias Rauch, the heads of partner management for Southern and Southwestern Germany, gave out a total of nine awards, honouring the exceptional performance of Bechtle's IT system house in Dortmund, the most successful salespeople from Bechtle's system houses in Dortmund and Neckarsulm, Bechtle direct Germany and Bechtle direct ÖA. The entire Bechtle Group was named Fujitsu Partner of the Year, largely based on the company's high revenues in the fiscal year 2010/2011. "This special distinction underscores the excellent co-operation between Bechtle and Fujitsu, which benefits both our system house and our commercial customers. At the same time, the award is an incentive to continue strengthening our successful partnership in the future," says Michael Guschlbauer.
A strong partnership.
In Neckarsulm, Bechtle's dedicated VIPM (Vendor Integrated Product Management) team manages the Fujitsu product range. Bechtle also has twelve Fujitsu Demo Centers in its comprehensive network of system houses in Germany. "This sets Bechtle apart from the competition in Germany. We can show our customers solutions based on Fujitsu's extensive product range, from tablet PCs and storage to cloud computing, not only in theory, but also on-site," explains Peter Fischer, team leader, Product Management at Bechtle Logistik & Service. Bechtle is a certified Fujitsu Solution Partner with Select Expert status in the areas of Server Infrastructures, Storage Infrastructures and Infrastructure Solutions. "A high level of competence, which Bechtle has built up over many years of co-operation and trust," Peter Fischer points out.
In addition to the Partner of the Year Award, Bechtle also received nine other prizes. Bechtle's IT system house in Dortmund received two awards, one for the system house with the highest revenue, and one for the system house with the fastest growth. Fujitsu also honoured six Bechtle employees for their outstanding performance as the most successful salespeople for the public sector, the private sector, public sector e-commerce, private sector e-commerce, largest PRIMERGY project and largest ETERNUS project respectively.
