Neckarsulm/Bonn, 09 August 2012 – The Beschaffungsamt des Bundesministeriums des Innern (Procurement Department of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior) has awarded Bechtle AG the general contract for the maintenance and expansion of the current EMC storage infrastructure. Now, authorised organisations can access storage services according to the agreed upon conditions of the framework agreement “EMC-Storage-Produkte”. The contract, signed 12 June 2012, has a maximum duration of 4 years.
The contract entails the delivery of hardware and software products, as well as consultation services, installation and support. As the main contractor, Bechtle AG will fulfil the contract in cooperation with its long-standing manufacturer partner EMC Deutschland GmbH and distributors TIM AG and Orchestra Service GmbH.
The Bechtle company headquarters in Neckarsulm, Germany, will oversee the central project management.
