Bechtle AG has expanded its Software Marketing & Application Solutions business segment by acquiring Redmond Integrators GmbH, Bochum. Founded in 2007, the company specialises in solutions involving the high-growth SharePoint technology. Redmond Integrators has a staff of fifteen employees. Mirco Kappe, the founder and managing director of Redmond Integrators, will retain his role in the company.
Neckarsulm, 11 January 2012—half a year after acquiring the Hamburg-based company HanseVision GmbH, Bechtle is enhancing its software business segment with another established and highly regarded SharePoint specialist. This represents further progress in Bechtle's strategy of positioning itself as an IT solutions provider. Redmond Integrators was one of the first consulting and systems integration companies to focus on Microsoft Office SharePoint technology. Among the services offered by the Bochum-based firm are consulting and planning, project implementation, development, coaching, training and support. Their range of expertise also encompasses cloud services. The customers of this Microsoft Certified Partner include both mid-sized companies and large enterprises. Redmond Integrators GmbH’s revenue amounted to 1.5 million euros in the fiscal year 2011.
