Bechtle is Cisco Partner of the year in the Architectural Excellence Data Center category.
Neckarsulm, 02 May 2012 – At this year's Cisco Partner Summit in San Diego, California, Bechtle received the prize for Architectural Excellence Data Center Partner of the Year. Prizes were awarded for the EMEAR/Central region and honoured Bechtle's strong growth with Cisco products, highly innovative customer projects and sustainable measures for business development in the area of networking solutions.
In his speech to the around one-hundred participants, Patrick Schmidt, Head of Data Center/Virtualization EMEAR/Central at Cisco, honoured Bechtle's high level of certification and placed special emphasis on the company's strong business development: "With over one-hundred per cent growth in the area of Cisco Virtualization in the past year, Bechtle played a key role in Cisco's success in the data centres of our customers. The extraordinarily high qualifications of Bechtle's sales staff and technicians in the field of virtualisation give customers a powerful impression of the benefits of Cisco data centre architecture." But for Patrick Schmidt, the award is also a sign of Bechtle's particularly successful preparations for the future—on this note, he referred to Bechtle's technology fair: "The extremely successful Bechtle Competence Center Days in March, as well as the measures announced for the company's participation in the Cisco Expo 2012, already ensure an excellent funnel in the 2013 fiscal year."
Strong growth to continue in the future.
Germany is one of Cisco's fastest growing markets worldwide. In the past months, Bechtle has significantly enhanced its partnership with the leading provider of networking solutions, and invested heavily in further certifications for network specialists. In addition to sales and technology certifications, a special emphasis was placed on training young employees through the Cisco Junior Challenger Program, and on further qualifications for business architects. Bechtle sees networking solutions as one of the most important topics in the future of IT, and has expanded its portfolio in this area considerably.
Michael Guschlbauer, COO of IT System House & Managed Services at Bechtle AG, accepted the prize, saying: "I'm very pleased to receive another award from our partner Cisco. Of course, we owe it primarily to our excellently trained and dedicated employees. But at the same time, it's a sure sign that our customers are focussing on the future of their data centres. At the moment, networking solutions are the focus of every growth-oriented business. Once again, this prize motivates us to get our customers ready for the future with tailored IT solutions."
Patrick Schmidt added: "With Bechtle, we have a competent and fair business partner whose determination and willingness to invest make a real difference. We're firmly convinced that we can continue to expand our growth considerably with Bechtle, and we look forward to more years of success."
