Neckarsulm/Munich, 20 November 2013 – Bechtle was honoured at the VMworld partner conference with the award for highest achiever of VMware competencies in EMEA. Roland König, Head of Virtualisation for Bechtle AG, was at the conference in Barcelona to accept the award, which acknowledges Bechtle’s high level of certification and the quality of their virtualisation and cloud projects.
VMware, the world’s leading provider of virtual infrastructure software, pre-sented awards in 11 different categories at this year’s VMworld Europe Partner Days 2013, held in Barcelona. International partners in the fields of virtualisation and cloud technology were recognised for their achievements and outstanding success. Among them, Bechtle was crowned with the award for Highest Achiever of VMware Competencies.
Over 600 Certified Specialists.
The deciding factor for the award was Bechtle’s high degree of certification. With more than 600 certified employees (VSP, VTSP, VCP), Bechtle has more certified virtualisation specialists than any other of VMware’s EMEA partners. These sales, technical and consulting experts are qualified in all core competencies of the VMware portfolio. “We have a very good, long-standing partnership with Bechtle. Investing in More Certification.
In response to the rising demand for private clouds and software-defined data centres, Bechtle is further expanding its competency in this field. Ro-land König explains, “In the second half of 2013 alone, we certified and trained another 40 employees in VMware cloud technology, with additional certifications planned for 2014. Our current business development wholly reflects our success in this market segment.”
