Neckarsulm, 30 July 2013 – This year marks Bechtle’s 30th anniversary, representing three decades of uninterrupted growth. There is much to be celebrated—and not just in the boardroom, as the local football club, Neckarsulmer Sport Union, has qualified to compete in the men’s DFB Cup.
The Neckarsulm region will be enthusiastically cheering on its local football heroes as they engage in their first-ever battle for the DFB Cup, starting with a match against second-division 1. FC Kaiserslautern, kicking off at 3:30pm, 3 August 2013. An avid fan, Bechtle will be sponsoring the match in support of its home team. “We’re very excited that our anniversary coincides with this remarkable sports achievement. The timing and circumstances couldn’t be better—the football club from Neckarsulm, where our headquarters are located, will be playing arguably its most important match yet in Heilbronn, where Bechtle was founded. It’s therefore only natural that we support Neckarsulmer Sport Union. We hope that all football fans in the area will enjoy an exciting, sporting game,” comments Dr Thomas Olemotz, Chairman of the Executive Board, Bechtle AG.
Edgar Klaiber, head of Neckarsulmer Sport Union is eagerly looking forward to the game. “For us, this is the match of the year—if not the entire decade. We’re proud to be supported by such well-known and helpful sponsors. Without a doubt, our fans can look forward to a fantastic cup match in the Frankenstadion stadium on Saturday.” Neckarsulmer Sport Union moved up from the seventh to the sixth division just last year and, as a finalist in the Württemberg Cup, has wasted no time qualifying itself for the DFB Cup.
