Neckarsulm, 8 April 2014 – The US software developer MobileIron has designated Bechtle an IRON Partner in recognition of the company’s outstanding revenue growth and competency in mobile device management software. MobileIron’s software helps IT departments ensure transparency, security and control when using and managing business smartphones and tablets. Bechtle has broad expertise and years of project experience through its Competence Center for Mobile Solutions.
As part of a small group of select, successful MobileIron direct sales partners in Germany, Bechtle employs a wide range of certified system engineers. “We are very pleased to receive this award. Not only does it document Bechtle’s competency in all aspects of mobile device and mobile enterprise management, it is also an impressive demonstration of our capabilities and market position as an IT partner helping midsize and large companies integrate mobile devices into everyday business,” comments Wolfgang Straub, head of Bechtle’s Competence Center for Mobile Solutions. “MobileIron’s extensive solutions portfolio is modular, affordable and an optimal fit for our customers. We therefore plan to continue qualifying our employees and significantly expand our market position around MobileIron’s mobile solutions. The customer demand is there.”
Kees van Veenendaal, Vice President and General Manager of EMEA, and Ivan Dondras, Channel Manager DACH and Eastern Europe, presented the award to Oliver Hambrecht, Managing Director of the Bechtle IT System House Neckarsulm, Wolfgang Straub and other representatives of Bechtle’s Competence Center for Mobile Solutions. Bechtle’s specialists help customers securely inte-grate and connect—as well as efficiently manage—their mobile devices. Their integrated approach to mobile solutions takes into account various issues, such as security, compliance, policies and access to corporate data.
Business in Motion.
According to Christof Baumgärtner, Country Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at MobileIron, “our software lets companies provision, configure, distribute and inventory their mobile devices, as well as secure them in case of loss—all of which can be done on premise or in the cloud.” Bechtle and the Silicon Valley manufacturer, who is considered a pioneer and market leader in mobile device management, have been working together as partners since 2011. Their current success is due to the rapidly increasing use of smartphones and tablets in companies, and several joint sales and training projects are planned for 2014. In addition to mobile device management, MobileIron also provides app management solutions. In order to facilitate the integration of private devices into corporate networks, the company has continued to develop features that support the “bring your own device” trend. “Growing customer demand is what motivates us to continually develop and renew our expertise, particularly as regards the popular BYOD trend,” says Mr Straub.
