Neckarsulm, 30 September 2014 – At this year’s EMC Partner Summit 2014 in Mainz, Bechtle AG was honoured with the Federation Partner of the Year Award. The award is given in recognition of the successful sale and demonstrable competency of EMC products and products of other federation partners VMware, RSA and Pivotal. This is now the second EMC award that Bechtle has won this year following the German Solution Provider of the Year Award announced last May at the EMC Global Partner Summit.
Seven EMC partners received awards this past September in various categories. The awards were presented in the capital city of Rhineland-Palatinate. Bechtle was named the Federation Partner of the year as the most successful sales and implementation partner for EMC and, in particular, the virtualisation specialist VMware.
“In the last few years Bechtle’s outstanding achievements for EMC and other EMC federation partners, not the least of which have led to an above-average growth in revenue, have earned them this special honour. They have also contributed new solutions for the VSPEX reference architecture, which augment the objectives of the federation,” commented Martin Böker, Channel Director Germany, EMC.
Oliver P. Kübel, team leader VIPM EMC at Bechtle, was thrilled with this year’s second EMC award: “We’re elated and honoured to receive this award for all our hard work in developing comprehensive solutions for our customers. It also confirms our excellent relationship with VMware, which counts Bechtle among its major global partners.”
