Basel, 18 August 2015 – Albert Müller, the current managing director of Bechtle’s IT system houses in Basel and Zurich, will be retiring on 1 January 2016, as planned. He will be succeeded at both locations by Andreas Rubinski, who will join Bechtle Schweiz AG on 1 September 2015.
After more than 25 years at the helm of Bechtle’s IT system houses in Basel and Zurich (headquarters in Regensdorf), Mr Müller has announced that he will be retiring at the end of the year. Under Mr Müller’s leadership, Bechtle Regensdorf AG, which was founded in 1990 as Moor Data AG and joined the Bechtle Group in 2002, has become a leading systems integrator and IT solutions specialist in Switzerland.
Mr Rubinski will take over the management of both system houses and their 55 employees on 1 January 2016. Previously the CEO of Mobility International AG, an IT subsidiary of the Swiss car-sharing company Mobility Cooperative, 47-year-old Mr Rubinski will be joining Bechtle Schweiz AG on 1 September to prepare the transition together with Mr Müller. “We’re pleased to have Andreas Rubinski, an experienced manager with an extraordinarily keen sense for market trends and promising technologies, join us,” explains Albert Müller.
Holding dual degrees in electrical and business engineering, Mr Rubinski has spent over 20 years in management and executive leadership positions in both the industrial and IT sectors. He began his career as a development engineer with ABB Schweiz AG before spending the next ten years in various management positions at technology giant Hewlett-Packard. Before joining Mobility International AG, the Basel native was the general manager of Ohaus (Mettler-Toledo Group). Mr Rubinski states, “Bechtle has impressed me with its sustainable business development and clear vision for the future. I look forward to working with everyone in Basel and Regensdorf and to tackling many exciting projects.”
