Neckarsulm, 24 March 2026 – At Hannover Messe from 20 to 24 April 2026, Bechtle will showcase how industrial companies can drive digitalisation consistently across their entire value chain. The IT company’s presence at the fair will focus on the smart integration of the dimensions that shape modern industrial digitalisation, bringing together expertise from various specialised units across the group and working with partners to demonstrate real-world use cases and innovations.
Bechtle is expanding its presence at the world’s largest industrial trade fair and will be exhibiting in 2026 with Bechtle PLM Deutschland, Bechtle Additive Manufacturing Deutschland, Modus Consult, PSB Engineering, Bücker IT-Security and several Bechtle IT system houses. Visitors to the Bechtle Group’s shared stand in Hall 17, Stand E20 will be able to explore a portfolio covering engineering, OT security and manufacturing, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and business integration. Bücker IT-Security will also be exhibiting in Hall 26, Stand F30, where the team will demonstrate typical security-related challenges and solutions from real industrial projects.
Construction 4.0 and virtual manufacturing
Holistic Product Lifecycle Management forms the backbone of modern product development. Based on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, Bechtle PLM helps companies establish seamless links between product data, processes and systems throughout the entire lifecycle. Experts will showcase the latest advances in AI-enabled engineering, automated design processes, the digital factory and industrial 3D printing. An XR experience featuring Apple Vision Pro allows visitors to explore digital product development and the digital twin of a production environment in a spatial format.
Secure integration of IT and OT
The convergence of digital systems with the physical production environment poses significant technical and security challenges for companies. Bechtle addresses both with industrial-grade connectivity solutions and robust edge hardware that capture and process machine data in real time and make it available to higher-level systems. Secure remote-access solutions enable maintenance and administration independent of location. In addition, safeguarding Operational Technology (OT) takes centre stage, with live demonstrations of attack scenarios on production environments, as well as security and monitoring concepts designed to defend against them.
Data-driven value creation and digital sovereignty
Experts will demonstrate how PLM and ERP systems enable consistent product data throughout the lifecycle, integrate it into commercial and operational processes and make it available for informed decision-making. In addition, Bechtle will be presenting the Bechtle Index of Sovereignty (BIoS), a new software-based assessment that helps customers strengthen and strategically secure their control over their core processes.
Innovative use cases
Bechtle will once again showcase a range of concrete use cases at Hannover Messe in 2026. The Bechtle IoT Demo Cube brings together AI-powered quality assurance, connected logistics and secure remote access solutions. An autonomous security robot by Swiss start-up Quarero demonstrates the integration of mobile systems in sensitive infrastructures via private 5G networks, while an industrial computer submerged in a water tank showcases the ruggedised design of OT hardware engineered for extreme conditions.
“Industrial companies must ensure that digital technologies are not deployed in isolation, but connected into an end-to-end value chain. At Hannover Messe, we will demonstrate how Product Lifecycle Management orchestrates the interaction of artificial intelligence, digital twins, secure OT infrastructure and integrated enterprise processes,” says Uwe Burk, Executive Vice President PLM, Engineering & Manufacturing at Bechtle.
