Bechtle once again recognised as a Top Employer

Neckarsulm, 15 January 2026 – Bechtle has been recognised by the Top Employers Institute as one of Germany’s leading employers for the third year in a row. The certification is based on an annual assessment across 20 categories conducted by the globally renowned organisation. Alongside an extensive survey and document review, the multi‑stage assessment also includes interviews with key stakeholders. The process examines criteria such as the alignment between corporate and HR strategies, initiatives to attract and retain employees, the quality of the working environment, corporate health management, and opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.

With an overall score of 75.74%, Bechtle ranks among the top 150 employers nationwide and is one of the 25 highest‑rated IT companies. Compared with the previous year, the result improved by 2.17%. “The award confirms our sustained dedication to our employees,” says Sabine Bader, Bechtle’s Head of HR. “For us, creating a working environment where people can grow and develop at every stage is essential.” The evaluation is based on an internationally recognised methodology that examines the quality of HR processes. At its core is a comprehensive survey comprising more than 250 questions, followed by a validation phase and an on‑site audit.

Bechtle meets 100% of the standards in the categories Work Environment, Employer Branding, and Ethics & Integrity, and achieves 85% of the standards in Business Strategy, Sustainability, and People Strategy. The company made particularly strong progress in Purpose & Values (+24.96%), Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (+16.08%), and Organisation & Change (+7.62%). The positive development in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is primarily due to the DE&I strategy adopted in January 2025, which lays the groundwork for embedding diversity even more firmly in the corporate culture and integrating it into processes, structures, and daily practice. Bechtle also plans to build on this progress in 2026 to further strengthen its position as a Top Employer.
