As an educator, you can build skills on the iPad and Mac that directly apply to activities with your learners and earn recognition for the new things you learn. Apple Teacher is ideal for those educators without any experience of Apple products as well as those who have been using them for many years. It doesn't matter if you only have one device to hand or one for each student, Apple Teacher gives you the tools you need to connect with all your students on an iPad and Mac.
Become an Apple Teacher.
1. Sign in.
Sign up for the Apple Teacher Program using your personal Apple ID, and you’ll receive a welcome email introducing you to the Apple Teacher Learning Center. There, you’ll find an interactive environment designed specifically for teachers, offering learning resources, product tips, lesson ideas, and inspiration from other teachers.
2. Build on existing skills.
Expand your skills with the Apple Teacher Starter Guides. The Apple Teacher Starter Guides provide you with the basics of teaching and learning with iPad and Mac. These interactive guides introduce you to different teaching methods and include all the materials and instructions you need to create projects in iMovie, GarageBand, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.
They also show you how to use some of these apps together to make lessons and student activities even more creative and productive. You can find the Apple Teacher Starter Guides in your Apple Books Store.
3. Receive recognition.
Test your new knowledge with interactive quizzes in the Apple Teacher Learning Center. You’ll earn a new badge for every quiz you pass. Collect all six badges for iPad or Mac to earn the Apple Teacher designation. This includes an official Apple Teacher logo to share with the world, an Apple Teacher profile frame for social media, and a personalized certificate to print and display.
