Tip 1: Continuous verification.
Use the SureBackup feature for ongoing verification. A feature used too infrequently, the SureBackup function is a Veeam security feature to automate backups and verify recoverability. SureBackup conducts an automated verification after every backup by booting virtual machines and checking they can be correctly recovered. This provides additional security, reducing the risk of downtime or data loss. From the Data Platform Advanced Edition onwards, this functionality is extended to include verification of the backup data conformity (manual or automatic). It also checks whether the backup data created remain unchanged since they were first written.
