Objective
This course is aimed specifically at members of management (CEOs), strategic decision-makers, board members and members of works councils and provides a sound basic knowledge of preventive, reactive and corrective risk management. The focus is on a scientifically sound and at the same time practice-oriented examination of imponderables and uncertainties that can harbor both opportunities and risks. Participants learn to use coherence and correlation techniques to systematically i dentify and classify potential hazards and manage them using appropriate risk treatment strategies. The concept of resilience and resilience in the context of information and supply security are also covered in detail. Another focus is on effective risk communication and continuous risk tracking, which make it possible to disseminate relevant information within the company in a targeted manner and identify progress or the need for adaptation at an early stage. In addition, rare events (so-called "black swans") and forward-looking scenarios are discussed under the leitmotif "The Day After Tomorrow". The course thus enables participants to view complex and unexpected developments from both a scientific perspective and a strategic business perspective and to proactively integrate them into their decision-making processes.
