Neckarsulm, 07 May 2012 – At the Partnertage 2012 event held 17 April 2012 at the Palatin congress centre in Wiesloch, Fujitsu named Bechtle its Partner of the Year for the second time in a row. The prize honours Bechtle as Fujitsu's largest system house partner worldwide, with revenues of over 100 million euros. Bechtle also received the Certification Champion title.
"Shaping the future together" was the motto of this year's Fujitsu Partnertage event. For the fifteenth time now, the manufacturer presented trends and innovations, and honoured deserving partners at this event. Once again, Bechtle received the award for Partner of the Year, largely based on the company's high revenues in the fiscal year 2010/2011. Jörg Brünig, Senior Director Channel Germany Fujitsu Technology Solutions, and Bernd Orth, Fujitsu's director of partner management in Germany, gave the awards to Peter Fischer, team leader of Fujitsu product management at Bechtle Logistik & Service. "We're very pleased to have received Fujitsu's special award for Partner of the Year again. This prize is not only an expression of our joint business success, but also a sign of the outstanding cooperation between Bechtle and Fujitsu. At the same time, this award motivates us to continue strengthening our successful partnership in the future to benefit our customers," says Michael Guschlbauer, COO of IT System House & Managed Services at Bechtle AG.
Outstanding qualifications.
Bechtle received the title of Certification Champion for having the highest number of individual employee certifications. "We were able to more than double the number of Fujitsu certifications in the past year, from around 300 to 647," says Peter Fischer. As a certified Fujitsu Solution Partner, Bechtle has Select Expert status in the areas of Server Infrastructures, Storage Infrastructures and Infrastructure Solutions. "A high level of competence which Bechtle has been able to develop through many years of close cooperation, and which first and foremost benefits our customers by providing them with professional consultations," Peter Fischer emphasizes. This status also means that the two partners work closely together, contributing significantly to their shared business success.
Central strength and local presence.
Bechtle's dedicated VIPM (Vendor Integrated Product Management) team manages the Fujitsu product range. Since 2008, 13 locations in Bechtle's tight network of system houses across Germany have been equipped with Fujitsu Demo Centres. "No other system house is able to offer such a wide array. In the Demo Centres, we use test environments to set up real-life scenarios. This allows our customers to gain practical insight into Fujitsu's products and solutions," says Peter Fischer. The Fujitsu products offered by Bechtle range from tablet PCs to storage to cloud computing.
