Yes. The Apple iPhone 17e 256 GB supports both MagSafe and the Qi2 wireless charging standard. Compatible chargers can deliver wireless charging at up to 15 W, while the integrated magnets allow MagSafe accessories such as chargers, cases, power banks, wallets and mounts to attach securely. To achieve the maximum charging speed, compatible MagSafe or Qi2 accessories and a suitably powerful power adapter are required. Alternatively, the iPhone can also be charged via its USB‑C port.
According to Apple, the iPhone 17e supports up to 26 hours of video playback and up to 21 hours of streamed video playback. Actual battery life will vary depending on factors such as display brightness, mobile network conditions, the apps being used and individual settings. Fast charging is also supported: when used with a compatible USB‑C power adapter rated at 20 W or higher, the battery can be charged to up to 50% in around 30 minutes under suitable conditions.
The Apple iPhone 17e features a 48 MP Fusion main camera with optical image stabilisation. It can capture photos at either 24 MP or 48 MP and also includes a 2x Telephoto option with optical-quality zoom. Features such as Night mode, Deep Fusion, Smart HDR 5, Photographic Styles and Portrait mode with Focus and Depth Control help optimise image quality across a wide range of shooting scenarios. For video, the iPhone 17e supports recording in 4K Dolby Vision at up to 60 frames per second. A 12 MP TrueDepth front camera with autofocus is also included, providing high-quality image capture for selfies and video calls.
The Apple iPhone 17e is rated IP68 in accordance with IEC 60529. Under controlled laboratory conditions, it was tested at a depth of up to six metres for up to 30 minutes. Water and dust resistance are not permanent features, however, and their effectiveness may diminish over time through normal wear and tear. A wet iPhone should not be charged. As liquid damage is not covered by the warranty, it is advisable to continue handling the device with care around water, despite its IP68 rating.
The Apple iPhone 17e 256 GB comes with the smartphone itself, a one-metre USB‑C charging cable and the accompanying documentation. A USB‑C power adapter, headphones and a MagSafe charger are not included and are available separately if required. For fast wired charging, Apple recommends using a compatible USB‑C power adapter with an output of at least 20 W. Existing USB‑C power adapters can generally continue to be used, provided they are compatible and deliver sufficient charging power.
