Prerequisites
Scout access, product status, licensing, and tenant readiness must be clarified in advance with Microsoft or the relevant partner. An active Microsoft 365 tenant; for a technical pilot, the basics of Entra ID, Intune, Purview, and Audit are typically already in place. Involvement of IT, information security, data protection, and the relevant business units; if employees are affected, early involvement of the works council. Please bring prepared, isolated pilot processes with you (only approved sample data; no high-risk production activities during the workshop).
Objective
Participants view Scout as a proactive, continuously operating agent and distinguish it from M365 Cowork, Copilot Chat, Copilot Cowork, and Copilot Studio agents with Power Automate workflows. You develop appropriate, value-driven, and risk-appropriate Autopilot scenarios for small and medium-sized businesses, defining roles, identities, permissions, data access, and human control points for a pilot. You will identify governance and security requirements for data protection, auditability, incident handling, and approvals, and develop an actionable pilot decision that includes success criteria and a 60-90-day roadmap.
