General network knowledge is recommended, particularly in TCP/IP, routing, NAT, and basic firewall concepts. Prior knowledge specific to Sophos is not required, as the relevant fundamentals will be covered in the course.
Objective
You will learn how to install, perform basic configuration, administer, and securely operate Sophos XG/XGS firewalls. The course begins with the relevant fundamentals and then moves on to more advanced administration and operational scenarios such as authentication, certificates, network and routing concepts, firewall and NAT rules, IPS, Web/Application Protection, VPN, RED, high availability, backup/recovery, updates, logging, reporting, and centralized management.
