Longstanding Bechtle Managing Director takes on a new role
Strategic responsibility for IT E-Commerce in the DACH region

Neckarsulm, 31 March 2020 – Mario Düll joins Bechtle AG’s executive management team. The long-time Managing Director of Bechtle direct in Germany and Switzerland will take on the newly created role of Executive Vice President for IT E-Commerce in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on 1 April 2020. In his new position, Mario Düll will oversee the activities of Bechtle direct and ARP across the region as well as strengthen the ties between the group’s e-commerce and service business.

Mario Düll joined Bechtle in 2001, developing Bechtle direct into one of the leading IT E-commerce partners for SMEs and public sector customers in Germany. In 2015, he also took the helm of Bechtle direct in Switzerland. As a new Executive Vice President, Mario Düll will be responsible for implementing the group’s IT E-Commerce strategy in the DACH region. His role twins with that of Thomas Jensen who is in charge of the group’s international activities outside of the DACH and BeNeLux regions and the strategic development of Bechtle’s e-commerce business model.

Before joining Bechtle, Mario Düll, who has a degree in business administration, worked for 13 years for Eastman Kodak’s printer and copier sales division, where he held various leadership positions and collected wide-ranging experience in the business with private and public-sector clients. Over the coming months, Mario Düll will continue in his position as managing director for Bechtle direct in Germany and Switzerland in addition to his new role

Bechtle appoints Chief Technology Officer

For the first time in the company’s history, Bechtle will appoint a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) from 01 January 2023, with the position being filled from within its own ranks by Dirk Müller-Niessner, who will take on responsibility for all Bechtle Group platform activities.

Michael Möllers works as a consultant in the Bechtle Competence Center Digital Solutions. His focus is on business model innovation and digitalisation. Previously, he completed his M.Sc. in Strategic Entrepreneurship at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and studied during his bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences at Maastricht University and University of California, Santa Cruz.

Helge Höhn studied business informatics and worked as a consultant with a focus on collaboration and business intelligence in Frankfurt. As Senior Consultant he is responsible for the Microsoft Competence Center at Bechtle Mannheim. His focus topics are Modern Workplace with M365 and Security.

Ralf Beck

Ralf Beck began his Bechtle career as a product manager for Samsung monitors in April 2000. Since 2007, he has been Head of Bechtle Software Product Management which at first included Microsoft.

Sebastian Schäfer

Marius König

Marius König has been working as a Senior System Engineer in the Security Competence Team since May 2018. He is a trained IT specialist for system integration and has focused on security solutions for the past six years. His focus is on the products of the manufacturer Sophos. In this area he has implemented numerous security projects.

Christopher Diederich

Christopher Diederich is a trained computer scientist and worked as a software developer and later for a management consultancy in the banking and energy sector before joining Bechtle. Since 2014, he has headed the DMS Competence Centre at Bechtle.

Michael Kind

In my role as team leader and senior sales consultant for VMware Software Solutions, I am responsible for Bechtle's operative VMware business from the Lead Competence Center & Cloud Transformation. I have been working in IT since my studies and work at the Westphalian Wilhelm University of Münster, where I was responsible for the HPC and HTC systems as well as the virtual infrastructure. Based on this technical background I have built up my presales role. Since 2013, I have been supporting Bechtle's sales units on all strategic, sales and commercial topics relating to VMware.

Jochen Müller ist a digital native. Not entirely uncritical. At Bechtle since 2002. Developed content systems and frontends. My first computer had a 4 kB memory. Degree: Computer science and media designer.
