Bechtle joins AI cluster, Ipai.

Bechtle signed a contract with the Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (Ipai) in Heilbronn in December 2023 and is now a member of the European flagship project for AI. Bechtle not only contributes its own AI innovations, but by expanding its membership in February 2025, leverages the platform to further bolster its network. As a member of the Ipai community, Bechtle is supporting the project of establishing a European centre for AI applications only a stone’s throw away from its headquarters.

The IDA software suite uses large language models to capture, classify, extract and analyse data, particularly from unstructured documents. Planet AI solutions are used by banks and public authorities, archives and software manufacturers, among others, who handle a very large number of documents. The company is a research partner to the University of Rostock.
